ROSIE ASCH AND THE CANADIAN TEAM CAPTURED THE SILVER MEDAL IN THE WORLD TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS!

Headed by Inge Weber, the team lost to the Americans in the Doris Hart Cup. Rosie, and her partner, Muffie Grieve, lost the deciding doubles 6-2 and 7-5. Congratulations to all players for their accomplishments!

QUEBEC WOMEN HAVE GOOD RESULTS AT THE NATIONAL SENIOR TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIPS IN VANCOUVER

There was a total of 21 players that travelled to Vancouver in order to participate in the Steve Stevens National Championships from August 20th to 26th. Some players had great results. Louise Langston captured both titles, singles and doubles in the 75 + age group. In the 50 + category, Quebec women dominated with Kirsten Bjorn being a finalist in singles. Kirsten teamed up with Ana Maria San Martin to get to the finals losing to Brigitte St-Hilaire and Alison Hannah-Taylor. Congratulations to all players!
